GREATER THINGS PRAYER

Please write down anything the Lord brought to your mind about the building project during our time of prayer—questions, concerns, hopes, or points of excitement.  Only the Elders will read your responses.

Surrender to God’s Will & Hearing His Voice  We lay this project before the Lord, asking Him to align our hearts with His will and teach us to hear and obey His voice.

Theme Verse: 1 John 5:14 "And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us."

  • Seek God’s will above all else

  • Grow in hearing His voice clearly (John 10:27)

  • Walk in obedience and faith

  • Establish clarity for each person’s role (1 Corinthians 12:18)

  • Humble, discerning leadership (James 4:7)

  • Wisdom in every decision (James 1:5)

  • Favor and grace in the process (Proverbs 3:5–6)

  • Dependence on God, not the building (Psalm 20:7)

Unity, Faith, and Provision We ask God to unite us in faith and generosity, trusting Him to provide through His people.

Theme Verse: Philippians 4:19 "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

  • Unity and support in the congregation (Psalm 133:1)

  • Faith in God’s provision

  • Generous hearts and breakthrough in giving (2 Corinthians 9:6–8)

  • Wise stewardship and sufficient provision (Luke 6:38)

  • Strengthened relationships in the body

  • Joy in the process (Nehemiah 8:10)

  • Increased ability to serve our communities (Matthew 5:16)

Protection & Spiritual Focus We pray for protection over every person involved and focus on the mission.

Theme Verse: Nehemiah 4:14 "Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome..."

  • Protection for pastors, staff, and leadership from distraction

  • Ministry remains the primary focus

  • Protection for all who serve and attend (Psalm 121:7–8)

  • Protection for all teams (project, contractors, architects, access)

  • Unity and peace among all involved (Ephesians 4:3)

  • Victory over spiritual opposition (2 Corinthians 10:4–5)

Logistics, Process, and Favor We entrust every detail to the Lord, asking for wisdom, efficiency, safety, and favor.

Theme Verse: Proverbs 16:3 "Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established."

  • Favor in permits and approvals

  • Efficiency in bids, costs, and savings

  • Blessing on contractors and scheduling

  • God’s perfect timing (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

  • Wisdom in traffic flow and property access

  • Minimal disruption to church life

  • Safe ingress and egress (Psalm 121:8)

  • Favor with officials and neighboring businesses

Dedication, Impact, and Kingdom Purpose We dedicate this building to the Lord for His glory, the salvation of many, and lasting Kingdom impact.

Theme Verse: Psalm 127:1 "Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain."

  • Lives transformed and the gospel proclaimed

  • Salvations through this ministry (Isaiah 55:11)

  • Discipling future generations (Psalm 78:4)

  • Expanded ministry opportunities (worship, prayer, outreach, discipleship)

  • Every space used for Kingdom impact

  • Serving Bigfork, the Flathead Valley, and beyond (Acts 1:8)
