Director of Kids Ministry Job Summary

At Crossroads, we are seeking a Director of KIDS Ministry who will equip and release a team that provides age-appropriate environments where kids grow in their relationship with God and are intentionally discipled in faith.  The successful candidate will be grounded in their own personal faith and have a strong Spiritual walk with Jesus Christ, and they will be able to pass that faith on to coming generations.

In an effort to partner with parents, he/she will build relationships with families while coming alongside them to inspire them to be the primary spiritual leader in their kids' lives. Our desire is to see families thrive in all aspects of life in the community.  As a church that is committed to the next generation and their families, we strive to build energetic, inspiring and engaging environments every Sunday for every child.  We strive to do ministry with excellence.  

Therefore, recruiting and developing a team of volunteers will be an important and on-going process.  The Director should be someone who possesses good team-building skills and people skills.  This person will need to be able to problem-solve issues while being present to greet families and answer questions.  The successful candidate will also be very solid with administrative functions such as organization, calendaring, effective use of software and communication. The Director of KIDS Ministry will also plan events throughout the year to support the entire family.
