1. Read the articles attached. Highlight the questions you have. Write one statement from each article that resonated with you.

2. “Cultural accommodation” can be a problem for the American church. In what ways do you see the church attempting to accommodate culture? What does “holding fast” look like in a culture of compromise?

3. Why does Jesus commend the church in Thyatira for their “love and faith and service and patient endurance” (v. 19), and how does their growth in these areas challenge today’s churches?

4. Who is “Jezebel” in verse 20, and what does her influence teach us about the dangers of false teaching and moral compromise within the church?

5. In Revelation 2:21–22, Jesus gives Jezebel time to repent but warns of judgment when she refuses. How does this display both God’s mercy and His justice? Compare this to 2 Peter 3:9 and Romans 2:4–5.

6. Pray that God would reveal Himself to you through our study of Revelation.
